Franklin University Doctorate Program – Student Perspective

When I looked at other programs around
the country, none of them really seemed to complement my multifaceted-life as a
mom, executive, a community leader, and a wife, but the Franklin’s program is very
comprehensive and very flexible. I am in the DBA program, and what drew me to the program was that I could work currently
at my job and then progress through the program and find out what I can do to
change my organization. And do it in real time. As an entrepreneur, there are so
many things that you can learn hands-on and then there are so many things that
you can learn within a classroom and so when you’re able to merge the two, you
become unstoppable. I’m looking forward to research and
honestly that drives me that fuels me because when I learn and I figure things
out for myself, I feel more comfortable explaining it to someone else. I come
from a huge family and I know that they’re in the process of discovering
themselves, so I hope to be role model to them, other students, and show my family
that I did it and that they didn’t come over to the country for no reason. I think it’s going to be extremely fun to work through the program but to finally
walk across that stage and have doctor behind my neighbor in front of my name
would be fantastic.
